NOVEMBER 2 – 4**This is conference week. All conferences are on Tuesday. We will have class on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. We will not have class on Wednesday. We will begin our study of Native Americans and Thanksgiving traditions. On Tues., please send a plain, white t-shirt for your child to dye. This need not be new and should be larger than their usual size since they will be wearing this over their other clothes. Miss A will visit.
NOVEMBER 9 – 11**On Tues., we will discuss Indian clothes and on Wed., we will discuss Indian symbols and their homes. On Thurs., we’ll learn about Squanto. Mr. Z is visiting us; as well as, Zero the Hero!
NOVEMBER 16 -18**On Tues., we will learn about Squanto. Then, we will begin discussing the Pilgrim’s journey and their life in America. Mr. V is coming.
NOVEMBER 23**A special Native American story teller will be with us on Tuesday. We will also have a mini-feast with another class and play some Pilgrim’s games. There is no school on Wed. or Thurs.
