TWH 257 p.m. October Newsletter
Our first few weeks of school have gone quite smoothly.
Please note information regarding Open House. We’ll also begin our “Star of the Week”. Read carefully about the Halloween party and costume parade, to help make things go smoothly that day.
We have gotten some great pictures / items for our alphabet book. Keep them coming! ONE / week, please.

Weds: classroom library. Children will bring home
a book to keep for 2 weeks, then return and exchange.
Oct. 19 - 21 Farm / Fall food F f
Thurs: field trip to Schappacher Farm.
Permission slip and directions coming soon.
**Open House: Thurs. Oct. 21, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
(TWH class members are encouraged to attend
between 7:15 and 8:00, if possible)

Weds: classroom library
Thurs: Halloween party and costume parade.
Those of you who signed up to send items for
our party will be receiving a phone call from
the parent host to remind you.
Children may come to school in their costumes
with school clothes underneath. Parents may
wait outside around the drop-off circle to watch
the costume parade which will begin as soon as
all children have arrived. (If it rains, we’ll parade
in the fellowship hall). You will have an opportunity
to take a group picture of the class if you so desire.
No violent / scary costumes, please!
Following the parade, the children will return
to the classroom where we’ll help them out of their
costumes and continue with our day.
**Parent - Teacher Conferences will be on Tues., 11/2 and Weds., 11/3. Sign-ups will be posted on Oct. 5
