Dear Parents,

It was good talking with all of you during conference week. As you can see, your student has grown—physically, intellectually, and socially! They have all made progress this school year and will continue to do so with your love and support.

During this month we will investigate spring things—caterpillars and butterflies, baby animals, life cycles, and bugs. The topic for our children’s chapel on 4/19 and 4/20 is
Noah’s Ark.

Farmer Frank from Sunrock Farm visits on Monday, 4/26 and Tuesday 4/27 with several
baby farm animals. Most children are usually delighted. However, if any child does not wish
to touch any animals, it is OKAY. Please prepare your child for this hands-on experience.
We will provide plenty of anti-bacterial soap immediately following the program.

Our field trip to Sharon Woods is scheduled for Wednesday, 4/28 (10:00 and 1:00)
and Friday 4/30 (10:00). We will meet at the Visitor’s Center near the main entrance off of
Reading Rd. A park sticker will be required. The topic is “Animals Alive” and is held indoors,
rain or shine. A snack will be provided and the play area is usually a popular way to end
our session.
